BASICALLY:

I’m Alexa - small town girl, 18 years young. You know, I would start the cliche “about me” ramble - saying how I’m different than most girls, and there’s more than meets the eye… but, actually, I kind of am like most girls my age - trying to figure out my purpose and my future, yearning to love and to be loved, facing the realization that my time on this huge, magnificent world is limited, and I am the only one that can make sure that time doesn’t go to waste. I love writing, music, traveling, and art - but I also have a crazy, burning passion for science and medicine, which is what I currently pursuing in school, and it keeps me busy, but I am so grateful for the opportunity to obtain such a great education as well as for the opportunity to utilize that passion to someday help others. 

One more thing I would like to add. I do possess a Christian faith and am daily pursuing a stronger relationship with my heavenly Father. I love Him more than anything. There are a lot of stereotypes about Christians, but in my case I encourage you to be slow to judge, quick to listen. For instance, I love homosexuals. I love prostitutes. I love drug dealers. I love people that have abortions - and so does the Lord. We are humans, and humans make mistakes - at the end of your life, I do believe the Lord will be your judge. However, in the mean time, I am here to love - not hate. So, that’s a small preview of where I stand spiritually.
